Sky opens up, clear rain comes down Green grass grows, the doubters frown They question their own lies Answers awake To the sound of the love in God's eyes The sun, the stars So what? you say Where are you when the sky turns grey When the night is dark before the day Then you realize the love in God's eyes I don't need your help The suffering is mine Endless failure, endless tries Turn your mind outward Look for the love in God's eyes Violence exists We all become blind Look and see what your mind denies The love in God's eyes You hate your enemies It causes you pain You're at a loss to explain Lift yourself up, stand and rise See the love in God's eyes

I saw my dark reflection in the the mirror of a stream. Water flowed into a crystal river I became the bright blue sea. Just another light sparkling in the bright blue sea Just like me. I found a poor twisted branch On a straight green tree Black branch died and fell to the ground Returning to the earth just like me Ashes to ashes just like me. I felt a threatening storm Raging over my head Red yellow sun came out gradually  White birds flew by, they flew as one High in the sky Silently stunning white birds flew by Just like me, clouds in the sky Just like me; I fly high.

Did you want to mother my eye? Father my child? Move my mountain? Gloss the finish on my soul? I'll find the needle's eye March my camel through Hold asteroids in my fingers Burn my palms Build my own galaxy One small part of my brain is  Spiderman,  Superman,  Wonder Woman,  God.

Ticky, tacky little town The sun climbs high at noon Comes up in the morning Disappears at night Days turn around too soon We pretend we are still in the same place As outer space circulates People running here and there Horizontal lives everywhere Look up at the sky, the moon is still The world is changing if you won't or will Round our orbit the scenery changes If you believe it stays the same Then fly for me, through the sky for me Tell me it won't change your game Upside  down and inside out Insight, failure, faith and doubt Every time your thoughts are blind It may be time to change your mind What if your brain shifted ninety degrees Would what you see please you more If I gave you a reason for Turning another ninety degrees Would what you see look differently Enough to blow your mind In every human kind of way

Hope is no fear Hope is a friend who helps you Hope is giving Hope is a death you live through   Hope is caring, sharing and giving a damn   Hope is children Hope is prayer Hope is Spirit Hope is forever   Hope is mine Hope is yours Hope belongs  To the whole world Hope is Jesus Christ Hope is living forever

It's so easy when the waves come crashing down To look around in silence and say you havn't heard a sound It's so easy to say God is all around When you've had enough of living and are wasted on the ground The head banger in the street are on fire tonight Another killing, one more fight It's  so easy to say Jesus saves the day When you bury one brother while another's locked away It's so easy to say these people are my own When you don't really own them People without a home are God's people all alone If it's so easy look me straight in the eye Say you know someday I'm surely going to die Tell me, no show me, that God is really here If it's so easy can Jesus feel my tears?

God, I could write a scary song About having been away from You too long I belong to You Though sometimes it seems to have little to do with me. My red bloom heart reaches out to You I want to know You love me The most important thought I have Is that I love You Sometimes this course I run Seems endless and ragged. Over jagged cliffs and dark, deep seas You are always my Source, my Saving Grace God, please come to me. If there is a hole in my wounded soul Then let my prayer be I love You with all that I am Creating a space For You to come through to me.

The songs in the clouds sing when they rain Cause of my serene and obscure brain What must God do to choose Who will win and who will lose? God bless the child that sees that moon Knowing that the sun will be still soon If the blues are in your way Lose yourself, find a different day If clouds in your eyes Are blinding you now Don't draw them in Find a way to give them out Through despair a seed will grow The darkness then will start to glow Use what you find underground Bring it out, pass it around What we take in today We can lose tomorrow To find a way past your sorrow Look into your neighbor's eyes Tomorrow realize some part of you Can and will grow Plant the seeds of Truth

This puzzle is missing one piece Our universe moves away  As particle by particle Planet by planet We are rapidly gravitating to stardust Here this puzzle is missing a piece I pretend it is whole I don't want to keep it together.     No? Everyone will see that missing piece Blank and over, misspelled I live with everything given to me My hands throw up  scattered sky... You are anonymous also. No one should be able to  identify my uncertainty. Not that I'm pretending The pieces can be caught by anyone  who wants them/can use them. I pretend now they aren't anonymous or broken or the wrong shape I pretend we're not missing in dark matter As blank as the moon.
