Ninety Degress

Ticky, tacky little town
The sun climbs high at noon
Comes up in the morning
Disappears at night
Days turn around too soon

We pretend we are still in the same place
As outer space circulates
People running here and there
Horizontal lives everywhere

Look up at the sky, the moon is still
The world is changing if you won't or will

Round our orbit the scenery changes
If you believe it stays the same
Then fly for me, through the sky for me
Tell me it won't change your game

Upside  down and inside out
Insight, failure, faith and doubt

Every time your thoughts are blind
It may be time to change your mind

What if your brain shifted ninety degrees
Would what you see please you more
If I gave you a reason for
Turning another ninety degrees

Would what you see look differently
Enough to blow your mind
In every human kind of way
