Sky opens up, clear rain comes down
Green grass grows, the doubters frown
They question their own lies
Answers awake
To the sound of the love in God's eyes
The sun, the stars
So what? you say
Where are you when the sky turns grey
When the night is dark before the day
Then you realize the love in God's eyes
I don't need your help
The suffering is mine
Endless failure, endless tries
Turn your mind outward
Look for the love in God's eyes
Violence exists
We all become blind
Look and see what your mind denies
The love in God's eyes
You hate your enemies
It causes you pain
You're at a loss to explain
Lift yourself up, stand and
rise
See the love in God's eyes

Darkness cries for light Light comes shining through Abstract shadows come and go Hope is calling you A steady stream of people Call for light to come But while each hides a face from God The darkness blocks the sun Inside you blindness lingers It's fingers wrap around your soul You reach for the door Any way out Listen to God, to what you've been  told Light prevails while darkness dies Stop the madness, stop the lies Turn your face toward God and then The light will shine on you again
